  • Based on a request to have more direction provided to the State Board of Elections regarding the Board's method of election, the Board was presented with an updated resolution to provide specific ways to have the Board return to staggered, four-year terms. The information in the resolution regarding how to return to staggered terms (see page 4, number 6 of the resolution) is based on legal interpretation of Session Law 2013-110 and how the Board previously transitioned to staggered terms.
